5th International Symposium on the Clinical Use of Cellular Products - March 19 and 20, 2009, Nürnberg, Germany
On behalf of the organizing committee we would like to invite you to join us for the 5th International Symposium on the Clinical Use of Cellular Products, to be held in Nürnberg, Germany, from March 19 to 20, 2009. The Cellular Therapy Symposium will be co-organized by the Universities of Erlangen-Nürnberg (A. Mackensen; G. Schuler) and Regensburg (R. Andreesen).
Cellular therapy is both, a well established modality with curative potential in the form of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and, when T cells, NK cells, and antigen presenting cells are used, a fascinating, rapidly developing new approach for the treatment of cancer, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. We will have the opportunity to share two days of single and not-concurrent plenary presentations as well as poster sessions. They will cover the most interesting areas in the field of immune effector cells (T cells, Treg cells, NK cells, dendritic cells) as well as adoptive T cell transfer, cancer vaccination, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. In each scientific session there will be a state of the art lecture as well as several pre-clinical and clinical talks. In addition, papers based on submitted contributions will be selected either for poster presentation or for oral presentation as late breaking news during the appropriate sessions. Therefore we invite you to submit an abstract of your work.
We are sure that your participation will contribute making the meeting exciting and successful. You are cordially invited to join us at this symposium in the beautiful city of Nürnberg.
Prof. A. Mackensen
